"Chief Osceola," along with his horse "Renegade" was the mascot for the Florida State University football team, the Seminoles. The real-life Osceola was not a chief, but rather a military leader during the Second Seminole War. The person portraying Osceola in the image was not identified, but was not a Seminole Indian.
