The coach, players and some university personnel were honored for their National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) football championship. Seated at the right with "F" on his jacket is linebacker and team captain Ryan Stamper. Seated next to Stamper and behind the coach is quarterback Tim Tebow. UF Athletic Director Jeremy Foley is sitting on the other side of Tebow behind the coach. At the far left is UF president Bernard Machen.
Biographical Note
Meyers was the head coach of the Florida Gators football team from 2005 ? 2011. He coached the Florida Gators to two BCS National Championship Game victories during the 2006 and 2008 seasons. Urban Meyer's last game as Florida's coach was a 37-24 win over Penn State in the 2011 Outback Bowl on January 1, 2011. He retired citing family and health reasons.
