General Note
Former Florida Governor Richard Keith Call's home in Tallahassee, "The Grove," was begun in the 1820's, and remains today a place of architectural and historic distinction. It was purchased by LeRoy Collins (husband of Mary Call Darby Collins who was a great granddaughter of Governor Call) in November 1942. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
