Host Ralph Rennick shows footage and stories that Miami TV station WTVJ collected in its first 15 years on the air. Mitchell Wolfson, co-host, founded the station, as well as Wometco Enterprises.
There are scenes of the 1951 Orange Bowl Parade, the 1951 Senate Crime Hearings in Dade County on gambling, the 1954 LeRoy Collins - Charlie Johns debate, the 1957 Cape Canaveral Satellite launching, the death of an Italian boat racer at the Orange Bowl Regatta, Castro's arrival in Havana after taking power, Hurricane Donna in 1961, Orange Bowl football, return of soldiers from the Bay of Pigs, and President John F. Kennedy's visit to Miami in 1963.
