Articles of agreement between Charles Augin Freedman of the first part and Big Ann in the other part and her four children. Charles agrees to fund Big Ann and her children for the [balance] of the year 1867 and to furnish them with two suits of cotton clothes each and for [and] in consideration of the above supplies, Big Ann and 3 children is to work for the said Charles as he may direct them the [balance] of the year 1867, they obeying all reasonable and lawful orders of him, the said Charles Augin. And at the end of the year, Charles is to pay Big Ann twenty five dollars in cash or in additional supplies not above mentioned.
