Except at AUTHORIZED CAMP SITES is Permitted
Inquire at the nearest MOTOR CLUB for list of Authorized Camps.
Auto Camp Sanitation is a PUBLIC HEALTH problem. Proper observance of HEALTH LAWS will not only protect the travelers, but citizens as well.
COOPERATION - ONE WITH ANOTHER- AND A PRACTICE OF THE GOLDEN RULE, WILL MAKE YOUR CAMPING MORE PLEASANT
The State Board of Health Requirements are:
1. Drinking water of a safe quality. No untreated surface lakes, ponds, ditches, or streams are considered safe.
2. Tightly covered, metal garbage cans. Campers are specifically warned against rank disposal of wastes.
3. Safe means of human wasts disposal. Septic tanks with water flush are preferable. Sanitary privies of approved construction allowable.
4. No camp ground shall be on low, wet or damp groun.
