FLORIDA FOLK FESTIVAL
assisted by
The Stephen Foster Folklore Guild and the Florida Federation of Music Clubs
(PROGRAM IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE)
Welcome to the tenth annual Florida Folk Festival where each year you come together because you feel that the old songs, the old stories, the old dances, and the old customs are just as good, sometimes better, than the modern ones. You come each year because you want to see again the arts and craftsm the spinning wheel, and the dances; because you want to hear again the songs and stories that although they are old in time are always young and gay in spirit. You come and bring your children and friends because you want to pass on and preserve the traditions that your parents and your grandparents developed and preserved to give us one of the richest and best heritages in the world. Welcome again.
