Letter from citizens of Gilchrist County asking Governor Doyle Carlton to send revenue officers down to the area between Bell and the "Townsend settlement" to apprehend locals who were operating illicit whiskey stills. The letter accuses several specific individuals. The letter warns the governor not to consult with Gilchrist County officials because some of them also have stills.
