Census Taker's Remarks

[From Enumeration District 149] All the doctors that attended the above case lived in as many different counties as there is doctors, and all live in other counties except Dr. Willcox. I could not see the first and Dr. Willcox has been and is now too sick to approach on the subject, hence I have to send up the schedules with only the reports of the families as to the disease but they that had physicians gave what they said was the matter. A majority of the deaths had no physicians attending on them owing to their scarcity, there being only two doctors in the county & one of them just came in on the 10th of May.
