General Note
Richard Parks operated a portrait studio in Tallahassee from 1962 to 1974. First called Richard Parks-Evon Streetman Photography, the studio was later renamed Richard Parks Photography after Streetman moved to Gainesville about 1965.
Biographical Note
Gamble Rogers first gained national attention as a member of the Serendipity Singers, appearing on television shows such as "The Ed Sullivan Show" and "The Tonight Show." He went on to perform at colleges, folk festivals and coffeehouses all over the United States. Rogers died heroically on October 10, 1991 while trying to save a drowning victim.
