To all whom it may concern:
Know ye, That James H. Bubbett a Private of Captain Abial W. Fishers Company, (“F”,) 24 Regiment of Vet. Res Corps VOLUNTEERS, who was enrolled on the Seventeenth day of August one thousand eight hundred and Sixty two to serve Three years or during the war, is hereby Discharged from the service of the United States this 28th day of June, 1865, at Washington D.C. by reason of G.O. No 116 A.G.O. War Dept June 17”/65
(No objection to his being re=enlisted is known to exist.*)
Said James H. Bubbett was born in Washington in the State of Penn, is Eighteen years of age, Five feet Five inches high, Light complexion, Grey eyes, Light hair, and by occupation, when enrolled, a Shoemaker.
Given at Washington D.C. this 28th day of June 1865.
