State of Florida Jefferson County This agreement made and entered into between Thos. J. McGehee of the first part and Frank Williams (a freedman) of the second part, both of the State of Florida, Jefferson County. Witnesseth, that the said Thos. J. McGehee agrees to furnish the said Frank Williams the ensuing year with two hundred acres of land (more or less) to plant in cotton and one hundred acres of land (more or less) to plant in corn. And to furnish six mules or horses and to feed all the team necessary to plow said lands and to pay the said Frank Williams fifty cents per hundred for all the rails he splits and puts on the fences on the plantation. The said lands being on the plantation of the said Thos. J. McGeehee in the aforesaid state & county, about five miles from Waukeenah. And the said Frank Williams agrees to furnish the hands and to feed them and to furnish them good mules or horses, to plant and to cultivate the aforesaid lands in corn & cotton under the supervision & direction of the said Thos. J. McGehee and to gather and houses the crop and to pay the said Thos. J. McGehee fifty bags of lint cotton weighing five hundred pounds each and half the corn made on the plantation in the year 1867. And it is also agreed

That each party feeds their own team after the first day of Sept next. And the said Frank Williams also agrees to pay the said Thos. J. McGehee in cotton at the market price for all articles that the said Thos. J. McGehee may furnish or sell him during the year 1867 on or before the first day of January 1868. Hall a Justice of the Peace in and for said county do hereby certify that I have read and explained this contract to the said Frank Williams and that he the said Frank Williams and Thomas J.
