What to Eat To Help You Recover From The Effects of Hookworm

At one time or another, you have probably seen a tick fastened to an animal's skin. The tick fastens itself to the animal and sucks blood. In much the same way, hookworms fasten themselves to the inside of a person's intestine and suck blood.
When a tick is full of blood, he drops off, but hookworms never get full of blood. They go right on sucking for a long, long time...unless the person tales hookworm medicine.

Not Much More blood Than A Scarecrow ~ Hookworms Got It

If you have hookworms, you will want to take hookworm medicine right away. You don't want hookworms fastened to your intestine anymore than you want ticks fastened to your skin.
After you take hookworm medicine, you need to eat certain foods to help your body build new blood to make up for the blood the hookworms stole. To build new blood, you need iron, protein, B-vitamins, and vitamin C.

You will get these things if you include these foods
Daily:
ONE EGG OR MORE
ONE SERVING LEAN MEAT OR FISH
TOMATOES, CITRUS FRUIT, OT
RAW CABBAGE OR GREEN PEPPERS, OR GUAVAS
THREE OR MORE GLASSES OF MILK

Right Food Can Bring You To Life

Two or three times a week:
TURNIP GREENS, COLLARDS, OR OTHER GREENS
FIELD PEAS, NAVY BEANS, OR LIMA BEANS
Eat whole wheat bread instead of white. Eat oatmeal or whole wheat cereal instead of grits or white rice.

If you eat the right foods, you will soon be stronger, feel better, and look better.
