Note: Police escrot for movement. All transportation and escort for official part will initially report to rear of mansion not later than 8:15 a.m. where official identification decals will be placed on vehicles and vehicles lined up in proper concoy. At 8:48 a.m. convoy moves to front of mansion into circled driveway headed South. Security: Three (3) Tallahassee Police Dept. motorcylces will lead the convoy, followed by one (1) Florida Highway Patrol car, Governor's limousine and an unmarked Florida Highway Patrol car with Lt. Governor elect and wife.
FDCLE agents will ride in Governor, Lr. Governor elect cars and (2) in FHP lead car. Dr. I. B. Harrison will also ride in the lead FHP car.

Governor's Mansion- South on Adams to Pensacola, West on Pensacola to Duval, South on Duval to St. Augustine, East on St. Augustine to Adams, South on Adams to Palmer Avenue, West on Palmer Avenue to Boulevard Street, South on Boulevard Street to Lee Hall. 2.0 miles.
ALTERNATE ROUTE TO LEE HALL
Governor's Mansion- South on Adams to Brevard, West on Brevard to Bronough, South on Bronough to Gaines, East on Gaines to Adams, South on Adams to Palmer Avenue, West on Palmer Avenue to Boulevard, South on Boulevard Street to Lee Hall. 2. 1 miles
9:00 Governor Askew and Mrs. Askew escorted by Major General McMillan and Lt. Governor-elect Williams and Mrs. Williams escorted by Brig. General Willis attend Prayer Service at Lee Hall, on the campus of Florida A&M University (Note: Dr. & Mrs. Perry, President of Fla. A&M Univeristy, will meet Official Party at South Entrance to Lee Hall.)
9:40 Governor and Mrs. Askew escorrted by Major General McMillan and Lt. Governor-elect and Mrs. Williams escorted by Brig. General Willis depart Lee Hall, Florida A&M Univeristy, for return to Capitol. Procession is organized in same manner as movement to Prayer Service from Mansion. FHP will have vehicles lined up and ready for departure.

PRIMARY ROUTE INTO CAPITOL FROM VEHICLES
Official part leaves vehicles at Junction of Adams and St. Augustine Street and proceed up steps in back of Senate Building (West Side), turn North, through covered construction walkway to West basement entrance into Capitol under Governor's office.
Enter West basement door, proceed down hallway to second door on left, enter and proceed up stairway through Lt. Governor's Office into Governor's reception area.
ALTERNATE ROUTE INTO CAPITOL FROM VEHICLES
Official party vehicles will be pulled into the Senate basement parking area in the event alternate plan is used. Official party leaves vehicles and proceed through Senate Building basement, through Press Corps Area, and up stairs into West Basement Hall, proceed up stairs one level down hallway to the East, second door on left, enter and proceed up stairway through Lt. Governor's office into Governor's reception area.
Note: Florida Army National Guard Color Guard will be in position at East Entrance (just outside doors) to the Capitol on South side, not later than 9:50 a.m.
10:15 The Governor, Lt. Governor-elect, ladies and other members of the Official Party assemble in the Governor's Office.
Note: Mr. Horry Hair and Mr. Mack Humphrey responsible for lining up Cabinet members, Supreme Court Justices, Public Service Commissioners and their ladies in South Corridor prior to 10:35 a.m. (See formation order in which officials, ladies will proceed to the Inaugural Platform, page 19.)

Each Cabinet member and his wife will reture from platform behind the Lt. Governor, followed by the Supre Court, Speaker of the House, President of the Senate, wives, Public Service Commissioners and their ladies and guests.
Governor and Mrs. Askew will be escorted to the Governor's Office; Lt. Governor and Mrs. Williams to the Lt. Governor's office.
Major Swing will escort the family of Governor Askew (Mrs. Askew, Mrs. Harper and children) to the Governor's Office.

RECEPTION AND OPEN HOUSE AT THE CAPITOL
12:40 p.m. Formation of Receiving Line- Maj. General McMillan escorts Governor Askew and Mrs. Askew to the Northwest entrance of the Governor's office and they take positions in the Receiving Line. Brig. General Willis escorts Lt. Governor Williams and Mrs. Williams to their position in the Receiving Line.
Mrs. and Mrs. Bernie Parrish and Mr. & Mrs. James C. Smith, assisted by Major Swing and Major Raymond, Fla. Army National Guard, will organize Receivig Line.

12:45 p.m. Reception and Open House begins. Guests arrive and are greeted by the Governor and other members of the Official Party as they pass through the Receiving Line.
1:30 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Bernie Parrish and Mr. & Mrs. James C. Smith, assisted by two (2) Florida Army National Guard Officers diverts the guests form the Receiving Line. At this time Governor Askew will acknowledge those
guests who were unable to pass through the Receiving Line.
Governor and Mrs. Askew, Lt. Governor and Mrs. Williams retire and prepare to depart Capitol for the Mansion.

This concludes official inaugural activities.

Florida Highway Patrol continues to provide cars and drivers.
Security Agent assigned each Member of the Official Party also departs with dignitary.
Note: Captain Adams, upon delivering Ms. McMIllan and Mrs. Willis to the motel, will return to escort Maj. General McMillan to the Southernaire Motel following the reception.
Enroute from Mansion to the motel stop by
the Lt. Governor's quarters and pick up Brig. General Willis. Generals McMillan and Willis will reutrn to the motel approximately 4:45 p.m.
