Description
Letter from Algy Knox Bevins to his sister, Merie Rieck, discussing family illnesses and deaths, and his time in Boston.
Nolia regarding Grandpa's demise. It will be be[sic] a blow on Mother but Grandpa is better [off] with Grandma than with the folks up there. There was also a lot of [nonsense] in the letter which was to be expected I suppose. She said Geo. was wishing you were back.
I have been around Boston a little and like the place very much. Was out to Cambridge looking over Harvard last Sunday. Was thro[sic] the Harvard [Museum]. We will [probably] be here a couple of more weeks before putting to sea. We cannot tell where we will go when we go out. Will write you before the week is up.
Your Bro Al.
